Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TFPI Enterprises, LLC, d/b/a BillNeat ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the BillNeat website and invoice generation service (the "Service").

1. Information We Do Not Collect

BillNeat is designed with privacy as a core principle. The invoice generation tool operates entirely in your web browser. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any invoice data you enter into the tool, including business names, addresses, client information, line items, or amounts.

All data you enter remains on your device and is processed locally. PDF invoices are generated client-side in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.

2. Information We May Collect

While we do not collect invoice data, we may collect limited information in the following circumstances:

a. Website Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to collect aggregated, anonymous usage data such as page views, browser type, and referring pages. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

b. Payment Information

If you subscribe to BillNeat Pro, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. Stripe may collect information necessary to process your payment in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We receive only a limited transaction record (e.g., subscription status, last four digits of your card, billing email) from Stripe.

c. Contact Information

If you contact us via email, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message.

3. Local Storage

The Service may use your browser's localStorage to save your business details between sessions for your convenience. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

4. Cookies

The BillNeat website does not use tracking cookies. Our payment processor (Stripe) may set cookies necessary for payment processing. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may set minimal cookies for security and performance purposes.

5. How We Use Information

Any information we collect is used solely to:

  • Operate and maintain the Service
  • Process Pro subscription payments
  • Respond to your inquiries
  • Improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Cloudflare — for website hosting and delivery
  • Legal authorities — if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect any information we handle. However, because the core Service processes data locally in your browser, the security of your invoice data is primarily under your control.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Opt out of any data collection
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Because we collect minimal data, most of your information exists only on your own device. To exercise any of these rights regarding data we may hold (e.g., Stripe billing records), contact us at the address below.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

11. European Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing any personal data is either your consent or our legitimate interest in operating the Service. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
